Annual reports are an integral part of William Humphreys Art Gallery’s reporting. The achievements, performance information, outlook, financial position, and human resources information of the museum for each reporting period are reported in the annual report. The information reported on in the annual report includes the actual achievements for the reporting period in relation to the planned targets and budgets as published in the strategic plan, annual performance plan and budget documents. WHAG’s annual reports are tabled in Parliament and are available to the general public. The publishing of financial and non-financial information is essential for accountability and, transparency, and to improve trust and confidence in government service delivery.

Annual Performance Plans identify the performance indicators and targets that the William Humphreys Art Gallery seeks to achieve in the upcoming budget year. These performance indicators and targets are aligned across the museums annual plans, budgets, in-year and annual reports. The Annual Performance Plan includes forward projections for a further two years, consistent with the medium-term expenditure framework (MTEF) period, with annual and quarterly performance targets, for the current financial year and the MTEF period.
